Introduction:
quantilope is looking for an Accounting & Finance Working Student to join our Finance Team. The Accounting & Finance Working Student will support the team with recording and reconciling financial data in our ERP system. In this role, you will be exposed to financial transactions, reports, monthly and quarterly closings.

What you will be doing:
Invoice Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable and accounts payable invoices, adhering to internal controls and regulatory standards.
Payment Management: Assist with the preparation and execution of payment runs and bank transfers, ensuring timely vendor payments.
Financial Reporting: Participate in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, gaining exposure to the reporting cycle and financial analysis.
Account Reconciliation: Reconcile various accounts, investigate discrepancies, and propose solutions to maintain accurate financial records.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients and vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
System Enhancement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement and optimization of our ERP system (Netsuite), enhancing efficiency and data accuracy.
Who you are:
Finance Nerd: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Analytical Thinker: Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify and resolve financial issues effectively.
Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and basic financial language in german.
Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring the integrity of financial data and transactions.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, with the aptitude to learn new systems quickly.
Team Player: Collaborative and enjoys working as part of a team, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.
- Schedule: Available to work at least 10 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust based on academic schedule and willingness to join us in our Hamburg based office in a hybrid working model.
Nice to have:
Accounting Knowledge: Prior coursework in accounting or bookkeeping principles is a plus.
ERP Experience: Familiarity with Netsuite or other ERP systems is advantageous.
