Your responsibilities:

• Build and maintain scalable backend services using PHP 8.4 (Symfony 7) and Scala
  
• Design robust APIs and integrate across services
  
• Write clean, testable code with a strong focus on maintainability and performance
  
• Develop and support features powered by generative AI, bringing intelligence to our product
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to ship end-to-end features
  
• Drive initiatives that improve our software architecture and scalability
  
• Continuously contribute to our engineering culture by sharing knowledge and challenging the status quo
  
  

We expect:

• 4+ years of professional experience in backend development
  
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience building scalable data platforms
  
• Hands-on experience with Symfony or Laravel
  
• A strong testing and debugging mindset
  
• Experience building or integrating features with GenerativeAI, or a strong interest in learning
• Clear and confident English communication skills in both writing and verbal skills
  
• A proactive mindset—you don’t wait to be told what to do; you seek clarity, drive ideas forward, and own your work
